Trainer
Hello
My name is Taylor Lotz. I am the owner/Trainer at Lotz Essential Equine. Here is a little about my history and why I love teaching students to ride horses!
I have loved horses since before I could remember. I started riding at age 11 and got my first horse at age 14. He was a 4 yr old OTTB named Diesel that was fresh of the track! He took me on my first journey through the Hunter show ring where I fell in love with the sport! We quickly expanded our herd and welcomed my mothers horse Midnight and my fathers horse Scooby. Both of them are still apart of the family today and will hopefully visit us for Camps throughout the year!
I graduated high school at 16 years old, received my Associates degree from TCC and transferred to Tarleton State University where I studied Animal Production with an Emphasis in Equine studies and a minor in Business. I volunteered time with the Therapeutic riding school while I was there, which expanded my love of teaching all students no matter age or ability.
My goal with this business is to teach students all about horses and to foster a deep love for the animals that have given me so much!
